Here’s a quick PHP script called yconvert that takes a path to a folder full of Serial Number or Password records exported from Yojimbo and spits them back out in CSV format.
yconvert.php
Sample usage:
./yconvert.php exportfolder > output.csv
(Don’t forget to chmod +x yconvert.php first.)
CSV is much more useful for getting the data into some other app. For example, the...

The Document Escalation Path
minimalmac:
It was not until recently that I realized something about my workflow. Please forgive me if this is all “Big Duh!” to you. I have a document escalation path. – a definitive point of creation for the most basic needs and a progression of steps for when the item outgrows those needs. My flow generally goes something like this (links to other posts here where appropriate):

About RSS, Twitter RSS, and 'the personal touch'
goobimama:
Turns out some people get real annoyed when when websites push twitter feeds that serve the sole purpose of publishing their RSS feeds. On the surface it seems like they’re right, and that publishing an RSS feed to twitter is stupid and arrogant. But…
I don’t use RSS. I’ve given up on it. Every client has its faults, and I can almost never quite get a feel for content looking through...

Dennis Yu, veteran spammer, writes a guest article for TechCrunch:
Did you know how Mark Zuckerberg supported Facebookin the early days, before he got venture funding? Casino ads. And how about those advertisers who were making over $100,000 a day selling Acai Berry and other weight loss products – they are friends of mine, pioneers of new advertising channels. You see those ads...

The Rise & Fall of The Nintendo Wii →
marco:
When we first got the Wii a couple of years ago, it was a universal hit at Arc90. The bowling and golf games in the Wii sports package were just plain fun.
Fast forward about six months from the time we got the Wii and it’s a completely different story. It was hardly being used. Fast forward two years to today and I can confidently share that it probably hasn’t been turned on in over a...

Pound the Quality →
But my interest remains, as ever, in the quality of the apps, not the quantity. Let’s say that when the dust starts to settle in this market, Android winds up with far fewer total apps than iPhone OS, but they’re of generally higher quality. That would make Android the Mac to the iPhone’s Windows. I would switch to that platform. (Feel free to substitute WebOS for Android in the above...

Tweetie for Mac has some great keyboard shortcuts
finermac:
Tweetie for Mac lets you switch between the Timeline, Replies, Direct Messages, and Search panels of your account with Command-1, -2, -3, and -4, relatively speaking.
If you use more than one Twitter account in Tweetie, you can switch between them by using Command-Shift-Up/Down arrows. This means you can switch between any account, and any panel under each account, without touching...
